If you’re a vegetarian. you do not eat meat. This includes any poultry products, red meat products (cow, lamb, etc.), and any pork or pig products. A true vegetarian also cuts out the seafood and fish diet as well. Vegetarians need extra protien from other sources, so we eat things like beans, tofu, protein bars or shakes, and other protien-packed foods and drinks. We tend to eat a lot of vegetables and fruit, hence the name VEGEtarian. A single veghead saves the lives of over 100 animals a year. Now that’s something to brag about!!! I think that the best website to get information on vegetarianism and other ways to help animals is PETA2, a non profit organization (people for the ethical treatment of animals). Although i do not believe in some of the things peta campaigns about, i do think they supply a lot of useful information to readers.
